I presented a paper at Display Week 2021 week of May 17-21 entitled “Displays with Integrated Microcamera Arrays for Image Capture and Sensing” (paper 54.2). The paper describes the novel concept of integrating microcamera arrays within microLED displays and reports on the tradeoffs, basic feasibility and interesting and attractive new functionality that becomes possible.
